Bethel Park Transforming Century Old Schoolhouse Into Cultural Center

With seed money from the state, dedicated volunteers, and widespread support of the community, a century-old school house in Bethel Park Borough, Allegheny County, is being transformed into a cultural center.

Built in 1905 as the Bethel Township High School for a cost of $6,400, the property, now owned by the Bethel Park Historical Society, is being renovated with a $1 million capital campaign.
