Richlandtown Borough Names First Junior Council Person

Madelyn Nicholas was selected as the first Junior Council Person (JCP) in Richlandtown Borough, Bucks County. Nicholas is a senior at Palisades High School, where she is the founder and chairman/president of the Young Americans for Freedom Chapter. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, Turning Point USA, and Key Club, and is on the Distinguished Honor Roll. In her role, Nicholas will participate in council meetings and borough business, and observe all rules of council. Upon graduation, she hopes to attend college at the University of Pennsylvania, and major in biology, and minor in journalism or political science. Nicholas said she wanted to become a JCP to expand her role in the community. She wants to develop leadership skills and be more involved in politics throughout the rest of her life.
