PA Commission on Crime & Delinquency Grants

February 19th, 2026

The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD), Office of Justice Programs, is accepting applications for the 2025–2027 Violence and Delinquency Prevention Programs (VDPP) solicitation until April 6, 2026. The initiative aims to advance state and local projects aligned with Pennsylvania’s 2025 Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Plan and PCCD’s 2026–2030 Strategic Framework. The program focuses on strengthening community-based strategies to prevent youth violence and delinquency, expand diversion and deflection efforts, and support successful youth reentry using Balanced and Restorative Justice principles.

VDPP funding will prioritize needs identified in the 2025 Plan that cannot be addressed through other funding streams. Anticipated outcomes include improved early prevention programs, increased use of diversion to reduce unnecessary juvenile justice involvement, reduced youth recidivism through skill-building and competency development, greater youth engagement in policy and programming, and stronger cross-system collaboration to improve services for youth and families across the Commonwealth. Approximately $5 million in state funds will support a minimum of 20 grants, with individual awards not to exceed $250,000.
