All-Terrain Vehicle and Snowmobile Grant

Grants can only be used to fund projects that support all-terrain vehicle (ATV) or snowmobile riding.  Grants are offered twice per year with a Spring grant round opening on February 2nd and closing the last business day in March and a Fall grant round opening the first business day in August and closing the last business day in September.

Grants can be used for planning, acquisition of land, development, rehabilitation and maintenance of ATV and/or snowmobile trails and facilities; purchase of equipment for maintenance and construction of ATV and/or snowmobile trails and facilities, or; educational programs related to the use of ATVs and/or snowmobiles. Award amounts range between $25,000-$1,000,000. A match is not required but is encouraged.

 Eligibility Entities Include:

• County and municipal governments
• Non-profit organizations
• For-profit organizations
