PSAB Recognized by U.S. Census Bureau

February 16th, 2021

The PA State Association of Boroughs (PSAB) was recognized by the U.S. Census Bureau for its involvement in the 2020 Census Community Partnership and Engagement Program. The purpose was to engage community partners to help increase participation in the U.S. Census.

PSAB Past President Carl Cox, a member of Knoxville Borough Council, served as a member of Gov. Tom Wolf's Complete Count Commission.

"PSAB was proud to be a member of the 2020 Census Community Partnership and Engagement Program," said PSAB Executive Director Chris Cap. "We appreciate the exceptional efforts of the U.S. Census Bureau and their commitment to achieving a complete count."

"PSAB also commends Gov. Tom Wolf and the fine work of the Governor's Census Complete Count Commission, as they implemented well-intentioned strategies to count all populations across the Commonwealth," Cap added.
