PSAB Membership Authorizes Resolution to Support Infrastructure Plan

June 18th, 2019

Members of the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs (PSAB) voted to adopt a resolution to support Gov. Tom Wolf’s $4.5 billion Restore PA plan during its annual conference in Hershey on June 12.
The resolution also seeks to ensure that local impact fees are not eliminated. Since 2012, $1.42 billion has been allocated to local communities to use for public infrastructure construction, storm water and sewer systems, public safety and emergency preparedness, and other uses.
“Our statewide membership voted to support Restore PA because it would fund critical infrastructure improvements like the expansion of rural broadband, stormwater enhancements, and local road upgrades in communities across the Commonwealth,” said PSAB Executive Director Chris Cap. “We applaud Governor Wolf and the Pennsylvania General Assembly for their well-intentioned efforts to improve our infrastructure and build strong communities across the Commonwealth.”
