Keystone Grants for Public Library Facilities Workshops Being HeldDecember 13th, 2018
Keystone 2019 Pre-Application Workshops
The PA Department of Education, Office of Commonwealth Libraries, will begin accepting applications for the Keystone Grants for Public Library Facilities on February 1, 2019. This application requires a Library to partner with a Municipality (Borough, Township, City, County, etc.) that is served by that library. Those applicants whose qualifying projects are funded through this competitive grant program will receive a contract between the Commonwealth and the sponsoring Municipality who will administer the grant. The grant is a matching grant, with the recipient providing 50 percent or more of the project costs. There is no minimum request, with a maximum grant of $750,000. The project may only benefit a public library facility. For more information, documents from the previous grant round can be viewed here.
In advance of the application, the Office of Commonwealth Libraries is offering workshops for library and municipal personnel who are considering applying for a Keystone Grant for Public Library Facilities in 2019.
