Fire Department Capital Grants

Eligible Pennsylvania municipal fire departments can apply for $25,000 to $100,000 in capital grants. Funding can be used for:

• Building, renovating, or modernizing facilities for fire, ambulance, or rescue vehicles and equipment.
• Purchasing or renovating structures for these purposes.
• Purchasing or repairing firefighting, ambulance, or rescue equipment needed for training.

Eligibility: Municipal fire departments that are officially recognized by local ordinance and funded by their local government.

Applications are expected to open in Spring 2027 and a Keystone Login account will be needed to apply online.

The 2026 awards ranged from $57,752 to $100,000, demonstrating that significant funding is available for qualifying capital projects.
